JESUSA I. REBETE
Senior Manage, Program Governance Team of Ayala Foundation

Dr. Jesusa I. Rebete leads the Program Governance Team of Ayala Foundation that assesses project impact using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) as a framework. She supervises monitoring, project gating and document management system. She is also part of the Ayala group of companies’ Sustainability Council that takes care of the Integrated Reporting of Ayala Corporation and ensures that sustainability concerns across the group are properly managed.

She has a wide range of experience in community development, public sector administration, and peace and conflict resolution. During her stint as Director III in the National Anti-Poverty Commission, under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, she led the team that rolled out the Bottom-Up Budgeting of the Philippine government during the time of President Benigno Aquino III, that democratized budgeting process to include civil society in all levels of government budgeting processes. She also performed oversight function over the government’s anti-poverty programs for all cities and municipalities.

She also worked as Program Director of Gaston Z. Ortigas Peace Institute, which builds citizen constituency for peace processes. She organized the Generation Peace Network and helped convene the Waging Peace Conferences in the Philippines that promoted dialogues and advanced the voices of the people in the peace negotiations for the long running conflicts in the Philippines.

Dr. Rebete is a Doctor of Public Administration and a Fellow in Royal Institute of Management in Singapore. She is also a part-time Professor in the Graduate School of University of Caloocan City teaching research and public administration courses.
