JOYCE NG

Joyce heads the Department of Trauma Recovery and Corporate Solutions (TRaCS) in Changi General Hospital (CGH). She is a passionate educator who believes in building individual and organisation resilience by improving mental wellness at workplace. Joyce also chairs the PEER Support Network in CGH. Her current work includes managing the psychological impact of traumatic incidents on individuals and groups, curating curriculum on building resilience, as well as delivering training and consultation on creating a safe and positive work environment.

Joyce began her career in the education fraternity where she had opportunities to contribute extensively on education policies. She believes education and empowerment are key components towards building resilience. With knowledge, individuals are empowered to embrace inclusiveness and debunk myths on mental health. She is driven by creativity and often sparks off unintended collaborations to develop meaningful initiatives.

Joyce was awarded a postgraduate scholarship by the Education Ministry in 2009. She graduated with MPhil in Education from University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. A strong advocate for life-long learning, Joyce completed an Executive Education from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in 2013.
