Sujin Kim
Director, Korea Social Value Assessment

Sujin completed Bachelor of Laws at Kyung Hee University and Master of Public Administration from University of Seoul, and is currently a director and a senior researcher at Korea Social Value Assessment Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the parent company Plan M Co., Ltd. She has been working on monetary valuation of social impact and focuses on conveying the concept of social impact measurement in easier terms for a greater number of people to understand and apply.

Prior to joining Korea Social Value Assessment Co., Ltd, Sujin first started her research on SROI with the Ministry of Employment and Labor in Korea and began her relationship with social enterprise industry, which continued by working for Seoul Social Economy Center’s research team.

For the past few years, Sujin has been concentrating on research and development of social impact measurement methodology for social enterprises, known as the Social Progress Credit (SPC) program, as well as for corporates, known as Double Bottom Line (DBL) accounting. She also takes part in systemizing social impact measurement and valuation for social enterprises as well as local governments in Korea. Recently, Sujin has been focusing on how to widely spread the incentive system based on social performance.
