Tim has been working in the space where business and social mission meet for 20 years. He is founding editor of Pioneers Post, the global social enterprise magazine, which reaches more than 120,000 readers around the world and operates as a social enterprise itself, with a mission to help social entrepreneurs "do good business, better" through intelligent, insightful journalism. He is also founder and CEO of Fable Bureau, a creative agency for social ventures, impact investors and mission-driven businesses (with whom he led the creative rebrand for Social Value UK and Social Value International).
Tim also founded Good Deals, the UK's leading social business conference, and created the NatWest Social Enterprise SE100 Index and Awards, recognising the UK's top 100 social enterprises (the first awards that also recognised the importance of measuring and demonstrating social value).
After gaining a degree in music from Oxford University, Tim spent 10 years working as a journalist for mainstream and specialist publications. He studied business at Warwick and Cranfield, is a board director of Big Issue Invest (one of the UK’s leading impact investors) and a trustee of the community transport enterprise ECT Charity.
