Vincent Shen

Born in Taipei in 1970, Vincent Shen became a multimillionaire in his late twenties when he was at Merrill Lynch as Managing Director leading the Private Investment Banking Group covering the Greater China market. He was ranked as the top banker consecutively for 7 years and became a member of the Circle of Champions, the highest award in the banking industry at Wall Street. After his early retirement, he achieved further success by funding CHC Healthcare Group in 2009, one of the biggest oncology centres in Asia, and brought it into IPO in 2012 with one billion-dollar market cap. When he was CEO of STL Capital Ltd., he gained the record performance of IRR 500%. He earned his MBA degree from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, engaged in the advisor board of UN CIFAL Zürich. Vincent has now dedicated his work life to impact investment by sponsoring social entrepreneurs with innovative technologies. Among other roles played by Vincent, he is the Archangel Investor of Oxford Angels Network, the co-founder of the Centre for Goodness Study, China, and Chairman of JSY Innovation Matrix Hybrid Fund. Systems Impact Multifamily Office, recently co-founded by Vincent, is working with senior lectures of MIT Sloan School of Management, Peter Senge and Otto Scharmer, to provide regenerative solutions for family offices to strengthen their Impact Investing with Systems Thinking.
