Day 1 is a practical, step-by-step introduction to the Social Value and SROI process. We will begin with some theory, but the process is best learnt by trying it, so candidates will learn how to develop an impact map – the heart of the process – and explore appropriate real life examples.
Day 2 covers in depth, more theoretical issues behind Social Value and SROI including valuation techniques and counterfactuals, as well as discussing examples of best practice at different levels of rigour.

(2) to be guided through a step-by-step introduction to Social Value and SROI
(3) to learn theory and policy background information
(4) support in developing an impact map based on your own example and not a standard case study
(5) discussions on best practice at all levels of rigour
(6) introductions to the range of support services we offer including Social Value Self Assessment Tool and Global Value Exchange
(7) to be starting your journey towards accreditation if desired

Tim Goodspeed (Training Manager at Social Value UK)
Tim Goodspeed has been the Training Manager since 2008. He has a background in economic development and social enterprise. He is an experienced trainer and an Accredited Practitioner. Tim is one of the authors of the Guide to SROI and has written and been involved in many SROIs. He is also a member of the Methodology subcommittee and is actively involved in developing and applying SROI.
(2) Facilitators: Social Value Taiwan and PwC Taiwan lecturers
Anyone wishing to become an SROI Accredited Practitioner will need to have attended both days. Day two is more in depth and builds on day one.
